If you can install it for less or faster, but it fails or leave you stranded in the woods, thats not saving time or money either. These are all items we thought about when designing, installing and testing our lift kits. This specific 5.5 inch Wrangler TJ 7 inch double triangulated stretch kit was designed to run 35 inches tires or larger with fender trimming or flat fenders. This kit was designed for competition use, or the more serious offroader. It does require fender trimming, a new gas tank, and some frame notching. However this extra work, gives you a 100 inch wheelbase ready to tackle any obstacle in your way.
The kit requires a new gas tank, a longer rear driveshaft, and hardline extensions for the brakelines, frame notching, and welding.
*** Our skid plate is highly recommended, as the center 3 piece cross member MUST be attached at the center.
Note: 1. Shocks are optional and we recommend the Bilstein 5100s. 2. A SYE kit and CV style driveshaft is required. 3. Welding and drilling is required to install this kit. 4. Custom exhaust is requried to install this kit.
