Carrier Bearing Mount Brackets

Branik has the strongest driveline carrier bearing available.  It is 100% rebuildable.  Uses a steel tubular housing machined to tight tolerances for bearing races.  Our carrier bearing sports a 32 spline 300M main shaft, name brand tapered roller bearings, races and seals, and Heavy Duty Yokes.

Thank you for purchasing the best drive shaft carrier bearing on the planet!! It utilizes the best materials, the best power components, and top notch machining to get you to the finish line and is completely rebuildable!      

********KOH proven and KOH winning design!!!!*********

-Your Legacy Pro Series carrier bearing is preset up with a baseline preload and tightened with a “SET UP” nut

-Get your carrier bearing set up with your mid-ship drive shaft and main drive shaft.

-Tack weld everything in. Brackets to housing and brackets to Chassis.

****MAKE SURE YOUR BRACKETS ARE AT LEAST .500” BACK FROM HOUSING FACE SO SEAL SURFACE ISN’T DISTORTED****

-Disassemble yokes, shaft, bearings and seals from housing.

-TIG weld is recommended on the housing, Mig will work, just take your time...TIG or MIG

-Reinstall bearing same way it was taken apart……don’t put seals in yet!!

-Check preload and adjust accordingly with provided extra shims STILL using your SET UP nut.

-Preload should be 10-15 in/lbs.

-Once preload is set, remove set up nut, disassemble bearing.

-Grease both bearings like front hub bearings

-Install Cone on one side

-Install seal on one side

-Install “NUB” end of shaft and yoke into housing

-Reinstall spacers and shims…NOTE—TUBULAR SPACERS HAVE A RELIEF TURNED ON THE OUTSIDE, THAT END GOES AGAINST THE YOKES

-Install opposite side bearing, tap in seal

-Install yoke, washer, and tighten NEW Lock Nut to 220-240 ft/lbs.

-Check preload periodically and Maintenance at least once a year (ie, repack bearings and new seals)
